The Story of Sagonaska
Sagonaska is more than just an apartment building; it is a testament to our belief that we can accomplish more when we come together. We can transcend boundaries and build a community that embraces diversity and inclusivity.
Sagonaska Place was born from the collective vision of housing developer Summers & Co and three First Nations communities: Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Garden River First Nation, and Missanabie Cree First Nation. Designed to provide affordable, off-reserve housing for both the Indigenous population and the Belleville area, Sagonaska Place aims to address the pressing housing needs within the region due to the Canadian housing crisis.
Sagonaska’s vision is to unite the community by providing culturally relevant, luxury housing that’s accessible to all. It is a place where every resident, regardless of background, can experience high-quality living and a sense of belonging without compromise.
